Once again, another year is ending. I know you can look back over 2019 and see the goodness and faithfulness of our God.
I could write about all the ministry trips, the mentoring, and the full calendar. But in retrospect, above all I value His presence in my life and the many beautiful relationships with old friends and many new ones made. What I hold most dear is my morning time with my God. I have learned the art of meditation. I have come to deeply appreciate quiet communion and listening.
Also, in 2019 there were necessary endings.  I decided to take a year off from teaching the School of the Prophets after 10 years; I felt it needed a new wineskin. The School will reconvene this February completely revised with a much different Kingdom perspective, and I am excited about that! I also stepped away from overseeing the prophetic ministry at my home church to make room for a new leader, my dear friend Brent Turf.
I have chosen to continue my part time employment at Caldwell Academy. I love the children and work with Godly staff and teachers. It is a joy to go in each day. I will continue there next year only if I have peace in my heart. His will is first and foremost. Because of the flexibility of this job, I am still able to travel in ministry. How awesome is that!
I am very excited about the word the Lord is brewing in me for 2020. It is going to be a very exciting time.  The Church is entering into a new era and we get to partake of the riches of the Kingdom. Friends, family, and brothers and sisters in Christ have had disappointments to overcome. Thankfully, God has graced us with wonderful people in our lives to make those moments bearable. Friends are a gift from God; cherish them.
One thing remains true through it all--God is constant. He is ever faithful and kind. I have come to value relationships this past year as one of the most wonderful gifts He has graced us with in our short journey.
We are learning as a people to place the highest priority on intimacy with Him and to love each other. If we seek to glean wisdom on our journey, let it be this:  Never depart from the fundamentals of our faith.  He is Lord over all the earth and yet chooses to speak to us.  This is still a profound mystery to me. Listen, obey, give thanks, be grateful, and journey onward.
His birth, death and resurrection still astound me. We serve a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Blessings abound to you and all your loved ones during this Christmas season.
Loving Him and you,
