Family is the very heart of the gospel. More and more as I add another year to my age, I am confident in this message. Growing up in an Italian home, my mother demonstrated pure love, sacrifice, and an undying commitment for the preservation of our values. Though without a father present except an occasional telephone call, I clearly felt secure by so many extended loving relatives. I have often shared how my mother prepared a meal in the middle of a cold winter on Long Island, and though we were all scattered due to a house fire, she created the most precious memory of my childhood. We gathered in the dark, candles lit, coats on, and we ate together in the house we were waiting to return to. Regardless of the circumstances, the need to gather around the table of the Lord in situations that are difficult is of utmost importance in this hour. Looking back at my many decades as a believer, the relationships that have been forged along the way have been one of the greatest gifts in my life. I had a conversation with a former pastor when it was time for me to move on from that fellowship. I shared that though ministries and churches may come and go, it is the relationships that are sustained over time that really matter. It’s time for the Body of Christ to take their masks off and build sustaining heart-to-heart communion and community. This was the core message of Jesus in John 17. The Trinity is family - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The prophetic message in Malachi was that the spirit of Elijah would be the restoration of relationships between fathers and children. It hurts my heart to see so many believers unsettled in their fellowship. Many wander from church to church looking for a home as their inner cry is for family. We each have a role to play in cultivating a family culture. Who is to blame? Sadly, we can point fingers at church leadership or reminisce about past church wounds. The reality is that through the work of the cross, we can freely move from brokenness into wholeness and healing. The prophetic message of the hour is to come to the table of the Lord. There is a seat awaiting each of you. The beautiful picture of the last supper is forever etched in my mind. The purpose of the last supper was not only to remember the taking of the bread and the wine, but to know how important it was to the Lord to simply gather with His disciples. I encourage you to carry the message of hope, healing, and forgiveness to all you meet on your journey. Wounds are real and life has its challenges. The earth is crying out for the manifestation of sons and daughters. What does that really look like? Christ laid down His very life for us to experience His undying love for humanity. We need to grasp deep within our soul; it was the relationship that mattered. I have experienced brokenness of heart, and thankfully I am on a lifelong journey of letting the Father love me. I am changed through the unconditional acceptance of the Godhead. Ministry is not about programs, endless listening to podcasts, or even church attendance. Gifts, mantles, callings, and prophecies will cease. As a prophetic voice in this hour, I am always challenged to listen and release the word of the Lord. But the reality is the word of the Lord is to empower people, help them see their God-given potential, and grow in love. Much of the brokenness we have seen in leaders has been due to isolation, shame, and a failure to embrace healing. As a prophetic generation, we can do better. Judgment and anger need to take a backseat to an embrace, a listening ear, and prayer for the restoration of family culture. In this new era, let’s revisit the ancient paths. I am so grateful for each of you. My life is richer not because of financial partnership, but because of the time we spend together on Zoom, in person, or on a phone call. Be blessed and thankful in this beautiful time of changing seasons. Love, Ruth

I love this! Apostle Karla’s most recent retreat was on unmasking and we are on this intentional spiritual journey of wholeness and healing so I really resonate with this message. The emphasis on relationship over ritual is deeply moving and reminds me of the heart of Christ. Your words call us to return to the table not just for communion, but for connection and restoration. I feel a stirring to linger even longer in the presence of the Lord and let love do its healing work.
