Also, in 2019 there were necessary endings. I decided to take a year off from teaching the School of the Prophets after 10 years; I felt it needed a new wineskin. The School will reconvene this February completely revised with a much different Kingdom perspective, and I am excited about that! I also stepped away from overseeing the prophetic ministry at my home church to make room for a new leader, my dear friend Brent Turf.
I have chosen to continue my part time employment at Caldwell Academy. I love the children and work with Godly staff and teachers. It is a joy to go in each day. I will continue there next year only if I have peace in my heart. His will is first and foremost. Because of the flexibility of this job, I am still able to travel in ministry. How awesome is that! I am very excited about the word the Lord is brewing in me for 2020. It is going to be a very exciting time. The Church is entering into a new era and we get to partake of the riches of the Kingdom. Friends, family, and brothers and sisters in Christ have had disappointments to overcome. Thankfully, God has graced us with wonderful people in our lives to make those moments bearable. Friends are a gift from God; cherish them. One thing remains true through it all--God is constant. He is ever faithful and kind. I have come to value relationships this past year as one of the most wonderful gifts He has graced us with in our short journey. We are learning as a people to place the highest priority on intimacy with Him and to love each other. If we seek to glean wisdom on our journey, let it be this: Never depart from the fundamentals of our faith. He is Lord over all the earth and yet chooses to speak to us. This is still a profound mystery to me. Listen, obey, give thanks, be grateful, and journey onward. His birth, death and resurrection still astound me. We serve a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Blessings abound to you and all your loved ones during this Christmas season. Loving Him and you, Ruth Mangiacapre Impact Ministry

Greetings my friends and partners! Spring has really sprung and paved the way for summer heat. I recently returned from Israel where there were massive fires springing up everywhere. The Lord recently gave me a Word concerning the season that we are in. I saw the Lord take a drop cloth and place it over believers that have been through the fire of affliction. Many have been weary and tired and in a state of disillusionment, but in reality, the Lord was preparing them and purging them from things they did not need to go forward with into the next season. I believe we are on the precipice of a prophetic authority that has not been heard before. The baptism of fire is going to be released suddenly and we will be aware of the holiness and righteousness of God that will cause people to see the goodness and reality of who God is. There is a sobriety coming to the church, the Ecclesia, the Called-Out Ones! These are the ones who have spent their walk desiring to know the ways of God. The beauty and majesty of God will be displayed through His bride. I believe that as we seek God to learn His ways as Moses did, a fresh perspective will help us overcome the disappointment of life. The beauty of God is seen through a passionate pursuit of friendship with Him. Never stop pursuing Him, no matter what the dark night of the soul brings. Ready yourself for a fresh baptism of fire!!! Stay encouraged and surround yourself with encouragers, as they are a gift from God! Choose wisely the people who will walk with you! Friendship with God is what we desire, but God-given friends are a beautiful gift as we walk through our journey here on earth! Blessings my friends, Ruth When I lived in New York, I would take the subway into Manhattan to go to a Broadway play or on rare occasion a restaurant. I did not like the hustle and bustle of the city and its crowds. It was necessary to endure it, however, if I wanted to enjoy all the city had to offer. We knew when the subway was about to arrive at our station, so we moved closer to the platform to be able to get in and get a seat. There was a faint rumbling sound and a vibration under our feet and we’d prepare for it by moving closer and gathering our group to get on board.
I sense the same “rumbling” in the spirit and I am looking for those who want to board with me, so to speak. I believe there is a global movement at hand. We can feel it, sense it, and are anxious to see it unfold. What will it look like? It will be defined not by glamour or glitz or big names or pageantry. There will be no superstars, just lots of nameless and faceless lovers of Jesus who have been hiding in the shadows and waiting in the wings for a pure move of God. They will carry the essence of the love and mercy and God and will minister to the rich and poor, the backslider, the broken, and the misunderstood of society. They will be free of judgment, opinion, and religious jargon. They will arise from pews and the hidden places, responding to the cries of humanity. They have been waiting in the wings. They have prayed in the secret place. They have been humbled by their own sin and shortcomings. They have allowed the Lord to mend them, mold them, and they cry for truth! They do not want more of the same Sunday morning sermons; they want Jesus! They want to see the blind eyes opened and the dead raised. They will be marked by the presence of Jesus and will speak out against injustices. They will not hold signs, but will demonstrate signs and wonders! In churches that preach Jesus and where His presence and His power are demonstrated through love, their numbers will explode. Churches will begin to work together in regions. Apostolic Centers will arise where none exist. Prayer houses and worship centers will rejoice! They have carried the vision and burden for many years and their labor is not in vain! Will you and I continue to incline our ears to the rumbling? Stay focused! Disengage from unnecessary chatter and clamour! God has been dealing with our hearts, motives, and our commitment to Him when no one was looking. I want His Glorious Bride to represent Him well. I want the Church to stand strong in the midst of chaos. Let us purpose in our hearts to proclaim what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 (TPT) “My brothers and sisters, when I first came to proclaim to you the secrets of God, I refused to come as an expert, trying to impress you with my eloquent speech and lofty wisdom. For while I was with you I was determined to be consumed with one topic—Jesus, the crucified Messiah. I stood before you feeling inadequate, filled with reverence for God, and trembling under the sense of the importance of my words. The message I preached and how I preached it was not an attempt to sway you with persuasive arguments but to prove to you the almighty power of God’s Holy Spirit. For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power.” Loving Him and You, Ruth Published on The Elijah List, Thursday, February 21, 2019
I have been mediating on the changing role of the prophetic office in light of the reformation of the Church. I have been equipping prophetic people for 18 years, and suddenly I found myself reevaluating all that the Lord has so graciously entrusted me to do. It was as if some "boredom" had set in. I began asking, "What is my role in this season?" My focus shifted from personal prophecy to discerning the time and season in which we live in the NOW. This word was birthed as I meditated on the Scripture in Jeremiah 1, the "prophet's call" to build, root out, pull down, overthrow, build and plant. The call was to BE the voice and speak with authority over nations and kingdoms. Anyone called to the office of the prophet will have power to uproot, stamp out, destroy and upend, rebuild and plant anew. Being the Voice "There is health, stamina, and new found purpose and vision being released to the Baby Boomer prophets for such a beautiful task! May God's wisdom abound as we do so!" Being the voice is more significant than having a voice. Oneness with the Godhead is our highest priority, and Christ IN us empowers us to KNOW His heart, and not just prophesy from the "gift". Prophets need to disengage from clamor, chaos, and choose the road less traveled for true intimacy and friendship with God. Silence will become a new norm as we ponder and reevaluate our changing role in the Body of Christ. Since ALL are called to prophesy (1 Corinthians 12:31), we will not make prophesying our singular focus, but rather release the Body to do so on a greater scale. This will shift our focus to reformation of the Church and advancing the Kingdom. (Note: we will still deliver words, but they will be more authoritative, and with great power and and wisdom.) Speak With Authority Over Nations and Kingdoms Interestingly enough, the call to Jeremiah was a call to the nations of the earth; although he never went to the nations. How are we (as prophetic people) catalysts to shift nations? Since most prophets will not be called to travel to speak to kings, queens and presidents, our decrees and prophetic intercession release the same authoritative sound. We will support, and align with one voice as we stand behind those chosen to walk through such open doors. I have been fortunate enough to travel to many nations and places. In 2013 on a trip to Nicaragua, I was given the opportunity to prophesy over the radio to the nation. I released financial increase and business ideas on the call. The nation did begin to prosper and move from a stance of poverty to increase in that season. We will see a rise in prophetic networking to stand with those who have such open doors. Prophets will move into more creative ways of releasing God's heart and His plans for the nations. Through a series of dreams, I was given a mandate to pray for our nation's capital. I took a team and off we went, not knowing what the Lord would do. I fell prostrate outside the White House on the cold concrete and said one word: mercy. Mission accomplished. Obedience and simplicity will become the new norm. Discerning the Times and Seasons Just as the sons of Issachar had the call to discern times and seasons, they led the children of Israel wisely and strategically (1 Chronicles 12:32). Prophets will begin to move in uncommon wisdom to do the same. The secret life of the prophet holds the key to gain wisdom to empower the Body of Christ to prepare for ever changing seasons. I thank God for prophets who can skillfully articulate times and seasons. There will be an increase and expansion of this type of anointing upon the prophets as we move into our new place in the Kingdom. Nurture and Equip the Generation I see God raising up mothers and fathers in the prophetic movement that have such a desire to nurture and guide the next generation of rising prophetic voices. Lou Engle has shifted into such a mandate as many others are embracing and loving the rising fiery and passionate voices. My dear friend, Elizabeth Tiam-Fook, has pioneered such a movement, along with Prophets Jane and Tom Hamon, representing the generations working together. There is health, stamina, and new found purpose and vision being released to the Baby Boomer prophets for such a beautiful task! May God's wisdom abound as we do so! Releasing the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord Since prophets do not merely carry the message, but they themselves ARE the message, there will be such sobriety upon their lives as they walk in the fear of the Lord. As prophets have holy, fresh encounters with seeing the face and the fullness of God, He will release the Spirit of the fear of the Lord to bring repentance and expose dark places in lives for the purpose of deliverance and salvation (Isaiah 11:2). Calling Watchmen Into Key Positions "Prophets need to disengage from clamor, chaos, and choose the road less traveled for true intimacy and friendship with God." There will be an expansion of the seer anointing upon the prophets such as having a panoramic view across regions and lands, both nationally and internationally. It will be key to align with prayer centers and regional generals of intercession to sound the alarm and release keys to decree and declare the purposes of God (Habakkuk 2:1). Carrying the Justice Mantle "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne..." (Psalm 89:14). Prophets are foundational in the Kingdom, and have a keen awareness of God's heart in humane acts. Since prophets have a battle cry for injustices and as there has been an increase in atrocities that are unimaginable, prophets will begin to shift their authority to reach into city and state governmental authorities for the purposes of working alongside agencies that combat human-trafficking, poverty and high crime areas. They alone cannot accomplish such, but will release wisdom to leaders, pastors, prophetic intercessors and chaplains to infiltrate evil and release Heaven. Within the justice mantle we will see prophets being instruments to pioneer a fresh movement to bring racial reconciliation. Whenever there is a rise in tension and conflicts, there is a call to bring healing. Matt Lockett and Will Ford are two prophets who are releasing revelation concerning such systemic injustices. Aligning with Angelic Hosts to Help Share the Destiny of Regions and Nations Many years ago, while driving through a certain state to minister at a conference, I began weeping as I saw a huge angel hovering over a barren and oppressive land. At that moment, I discerned poverty and hopelessness. For several years, I would gather prophetic watchmen and intercessors and strategize prayer networking and team building. I could "see" the hosts of Heaven pleading for a release of His glory in many east coast states. We would take teams into Washington DC, New York City, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts to release His heart. I believe that prophets and seers will continue to work with the angelic in greater measure during this prophetic reformation. Move in Uncommon Wisdom Isaiah 11 is an indicator of the manifestations of Holy Spirit that would rest upon Jesus and consequently within us as well. Prophets are given authority to root out, pull down, overthrow, build and plant. Such a mandate of authority requires uncommon wisdom which is the mind of the Lord. Prophets will be put in key positions to dismantle strongholds and release strategies to unravel powers and principalities that seek to destroy our nation, beginning in government and the government of the Church. Just as the prophet was given authority within the call to be set over nations and kingdoms, the Lord has highlighted these areas that the spirit of wisdom will accomplish: 1. Root out racism and injustice systemically. 2. Bring down heavenly plans and assignments. 3. Destroy religious mindsets. 4. Throw down, release your mantle and giftedness to the next generations. 5. Build people, relationships and righteousness. 6. Plant and pioneer new innovative ideas to release Kingdom wealth. Prayer We thank You, Father, for being able to shift, very effortlessly, into the prophetic reformation. We align with change and make necessary adjustments in our own lives to adapt to it. Grace us with wisdom and grace to change. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.) She has been a church planter, and currently an itinerant prophetic minister, mentor, and author. She has traveled to many nations and many states preaching, teaching, and hosting the presence of the Lord. She has trained hundreds of Believers at the school of the Prophets in High Point NC for 10 years. She currently co-leads the Southeast Prophetic network, is part of New Day church at High Point leadership and presbytery team. She is part of Patricia King's Women in Ministry Network as a regional leader. She holds ordination with both Christian International, and New Day the Church at High Point. Ruth and her husband Andy have been happily married for many years, they have 2 married children and 2 grandsons, which bring them the greatest joy! I am so grateful for all God has done in 2018. With each passing year, I am reminded of His love and mercy that never cease. I am confident that 2019 will be another chapter in our story of co-laboring with the King to advance His Kingdom, not our own. I was privileged this past year to travel again to many places in the States and Canada working with leaders to gather prophetic voices in the Southeast and continue to mentor women and young prophets. I just finished my 10th year training in the School of the Prophets, and I plan to take off a semester to revisit some things. We should be willing to change and restructure as God leads. No matter how many doors the Lord opens, I recognize our journey is always first and foremost about loving God and loving people. I also took a part time position working at Caldwell Academy in Greensboro, working with transitional kindergartners. That open door has been a real blessing to my life. I travel locally on weekends and moved my extended travel to the summer and spring breaks. A plus is that I see my grandsons and daughter every day, and I work with some amazing Godly teachers! The Lord is releasing a word for 2019 that I will share in January. Until then, stand strong and know that you are valuable and loved! Have the best holiday ever and remember as you journey on in your own walk with our Lord to keep it simple! “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 Loving Him and you, Ruth and Andy Impact Ministry of the Triad There has always been a call to occupy the high places! “Come up here” was not just an invitation for John, but for all of those who choose to take the road less traveled. I write this from the friendly skies of United. Yes, the high places are calling you and me! Will you be counted as one that will wrestle with the angels until He establishes His church as a bold army of men and women of all ages to stand for truth, justice and righteousness? Let God’s peace allow us to soar! In this crucial hour in which we live, grace empowers us to rise up and still maintain peace. This is true separation from the world. While life happens and we experience discouragement, we can hold on to peace. This is the high place. Peace empowers us to listen while everything is screaming around us. Peace empowers us to shut out the noise and sit at His feet no matter what! Peace is so priceless that Jesus’ last grace gift was “My peace I leave unto you.” You will be persecuted and misunderstood when you walk in peace. You will seem strange to those who don’t understand your peace. People want you to emotionally react as the world does. His peace is supernatural empowerment and sustenance. Prophetic and Apostolic people hold onto peace!!! It is the mark of our walk with God. Disengage from any and all situations that will attack your peace. In this next season, allow more space to soak and sit! Silence and time are great commodities. The Lord showed me more angelic encounters to release NEW assignments. There will be a new road, a new transition, a newness in your calling, and shifts in your thinking. We tend to get “stuck” and comfortable as time goes on. Abraham set an example for all of us. He left all things familiar to walk by faith into a land he had never set foot on before (Genesis 12). I bless you in this season with grace, peace and newness! Loving Him and you! Ruth Mangiacapre What a wonderful season we are in! There is so much change, transition, and fresh perspective of our lives in Christ! Can you sense the shifting wind? It is as if our sails have been ever so gently blown upon and we are moving once again. I used to despise change; I now embrace it. Our lives were never created to be stagnant; onward and forward into new territories! I have sensed God redefining His people; we are returning to our roots. We are once again realizing that we are to be rooted and grounded in love. We are to be rooted and grounded in Christ and Christ alone. We are to be rooted and grounded in the truth of scripture without compromise, yet be gentle toward those who have not yet believed. We are returning to our roots yet advancing the Kingdom! Change is at hand. Roots that remain deep can uphold winds of change! Here are some areas the Lord has highlighted for me to share with you: • Many will be called to enter into extended periods of prayer and fasting. You may need to make changes in your schedule to do so. • Some will be thrust into new and unfamiliar places in ministry; for example, ministering outside the walls of the church to the broken. For some this will come as a new passion being birthed in you. • Itinerant ministry may need to be scaled down in order to be more fruitful in what has already been established in your relationships. • Many will step into new creativity in the arts, such as writing, music, and painting. • Do not negate ideas that may be out of what you have known in the past. Perhaps a new job, new assignment, or a new location is awaiting you! The season of being commissioned is at hand. This simply means God is granting permission to venture out and trust that He will equip you, teach you and celebrate you as you step into unexpected arenas. “I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however, I do have one compelling focus. I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.” Philippians 3: 13-16 (TPT) Much love to you all, Ruth We are in a very exciting season in the Kingdom of God! There is such a grace being released for activation, expansion, commissioning, launching, and building. This is not merely limited to the inside of the church.
The wonder and mystery of Christ in us, the hope of glory, is being finally grasped by revelation knowledge to those who once tried to accomplish ministry in their own strength. This is largely due to God’s people seeking His heart and His face above all other agendas. With that as our firm foundation, there are no limitations. We are simply compelled by the heart of the Father to draw people into the same empowering and life-giving freedom. The King of Glory chose to find His home within the sons of men. You and I are graciously given the keys to the Kingdom, which is the authority to shape and change our culture one person at a time. I am astonished at the limitations we once lived under. Religion, fear of the supernatural, unhealed minds and bound emotions restricted us and hindered us from advancing the Kingdom. Breakthrough empowers us to receive all the revelation we need to step into this hour of commissioning. This has been the breakthrough season we have waited for. All of heaven is cheering you on as you prophesy, lay hands on the sick, visit the shut in, build your Kingdom business, love your sons and daughters, and teach them to do the same! Let His great grace thrust you into this adventurous season. This is the time you have been waiting for. No more delays, nor disillusionment! Sing that song, write that book, and prophesy to the four winds! Be the world changer you were created to be! Every act of faith empowered by the Love of God is what the earth has been waiting for! I believe this is your breakthrough season, and I cheer you on! Blessings and love, Ruth Can you feel the shift in the spirit? Since the beginning of the year, I have sensed a strong wind from behind me thrusting me in to a season unlike we have ever seen before. I try to avoid clichés, but it truly is a new season in the Lord. I keep hearing the word FORWARD. As Paul tells us in Philippians, “Forgetting those things which lie behind, I press on toward the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus.” What exactly is that high calling? To know Him and make Him known, plain and simple.
I will share with you what I believe is wisdom for this season. 1) Continue to catch the wind. This means discerning moment by moment, day by day, his instructions for you. It could be as simple as staying home and soaking, catching up with an old friend who needs a word, or blessing your pastor with a gift. It could also mean hitting the streets and praying for the homeless man you pass by every day. No matter how big or how little, obedience is key! 2) Step out in new creative ways to explore hidden gifts you may not have known were possible. Write that song, paint a picture, pick up a guitar or create a new recipe. Creativity expands our spirit man and boosts our confidence in the Lord. 3) Never stop learning! Glean from wise counsel, read encouraging and thought-provoking books, or re-read a favorite book of the Bible in a different version! There are those around you who need what you can glean from a fresh perspective! 4) Find someone younger than you to mentor! I was in a conference in January this year with young prophets from around the world. It truly is a season of the generations running together! I was so blessed to see how they honored the elders and were hungry to be mentored. They have a zeal that I so desire to walk in. They are all around us; we just need to ask God who he has placed before us. 5) Pay attention to your dreams! There is such instruction, direction, healing and knowledge that is being poured out as we sleep. 6) Pray for interpretation and strategy! They are very significant parts of your journey! I began a monthly online mentoring this past week and we had many participants. The Spirit of God moved powerfully in prophetic ministry after I taught on keys to your destiny! If you are interested, please go to my website and sign up! I would love to connect with you. www.impactministrytriad.com Lastly, there are no words to describe how blessed I feel to be walking on the earth in this hour! God is releasing His Glory and His amazing love, and we are on the verge of a global awakening that we get to be a part of! I heard these words in my spirit recently – “Awaken the Seers.” It is imperative that our spirit man remain alert, that we heed those nudges and dreams, and that we align with intercessors to see the desired outcome of God’s external purposes. Proverbs 4:5 reminds us that the spirit of wisdom and understanding is available to all who ask.
God is desiring that we choose to grow in the realm of seeing and discerning, not only for our churches, leaders and families but for world events as well. I hear from many others about their dreams concerning their foresight of hurricanes, floods, issues with North Korea, and our own government. Most recently I had a dream about the Las Vegas shooting, as did another intercessor. The question remains the same – What do I do now with such revelation? God entrusts these secrets to His friends, His prophets, and all who will incline their ear towards heaven. With that said, it is key that we stand in the counsel of the Lord because He will instruct us. And always we ourselves are to pray into what God is revealing. He is always looking for someone who will stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30). We may not have the platform to sound the alarm or send it to Charisma Magazine or The Elijah List; nonetheless, you can make a difference in the Kingdom as you intercede and steward what you have been given. A few years back, I had a dream that I intercepted a phone conversation concerning Benghazi. When I awoke, I realized this was serious business. I notified a strategic prayer group that had access to an international prayer movement. I sensed the release when I engaged others who had authority in the realm of international assignments. God loves to engage you in His affairs, whether it be in the watch of the night, a dream, or a vision. Seers – SEE! Ask Holy Spirit to align you with people who understand the times and seasons of the Lord (I Chron. 12:32). Habakkuk 2:1 says, “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me.” SEERS – the Lord is calling you to arise! He is releasing a fresh perspective and Grace upon you! You have a voice and your prayers touch heaven and impact earth! Please contact me if you would like more information on how you can make a difference. Loving Him and You! Ruth |
